This weekend we felt desperate to get out of the house, to get moving & not stare at each other going “I don’t know, what do you want to do?” while Harrison tugs at my skirt. We hopped in the car & drove to our alma mater where this whole crazy life we live started with a hug on Spring Garden Street, right between Yum-Yums Ice Cream & the business school. We had a run of the campus thanks to Labor Day & grabbed pizza & beer at Old Town, just like we did 10 years ago.

The mother/son striped tees makes it.
LOVE LOVE LOVE walking my old campus. So cute to have pics of H there.
ah it must be so surreal to take harrison back to where it all started!
Ahhhh…the memories. My husband and I both went there too. We were both assigned to Guilford dorm and met the first week of our freshman year. He used to walk me to class before heading to his business classes in the Bryan building. That seems like forever ago now
Aww lady… You look absolutely adorable – thanks for sharing!
Sounds like a fabulous weekend. Loved seeing your photos on Facebook. You need to tell the story of how you and Doug met (or point me to it if you have already)!
Go Spartans! That’s my alma mater, too!! So excited to see it on here!
I went there for my first year- 10 years ago too! I lived in Shaw dorm! Small world.
